JAKARTA - The technology giant Google is reportedly developing an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can control human life. This is feared could threaten the survival of mankind.

Launching Futurism, a former Chief Business Officer for Google's moonshot organization, Google X, Mo Gawdat expressed his concern and said that the AI that Google was working on was very scary. Gawdat saw the artificial intelligence Google developed while he was working there.

“I suddenly realized this was really scary. It really left me speechless. The reality is that we created God," Gawdat said.

In addition, he also said that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which is a type of artificial intelligence, could be very powerful, as depicted in the film The Terminator.

When Gawdat was working with the artificial intelligence development team at Google X, he watched the company create a robotic arm that could find and pick up tiny balls. After doing a number of research, but still minimal progress, suddenly the robotic arm took a ball and then raised it in front of the researchers.

According to the Daily Star report, Gawdat is very concerned about the ability of machines to learn things faster than humans. He was very worried about the future development of AI.
