JAKARTA - After launching in China, Malaysia and even in Europe, Xiaomi Redmi 9 has now been officially introduced to the Indonesian market. Xiaomi brings many changes to this latest device, including in terms of design.

Speaking of design, Redmi 9 presents a circular optical illusion on the back of the cellphone by placing the three cameras vertically. Xiaomi also places a fingerprint scanner that seems to make the Redmi 9 camera four.
Other modules, such as a depth of field lens and LED flash, are located beside the main lens array. Xiaomi still maintains the dot drop design, as a notch for the 8MP resolution selfie camera.
The Redmi 9 screen has also adopted Full HD + resolution with a density of 2340x1080 pixels measuring 6.53 inches. Xiaomi also protects the screen panel with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3
The kitchen is running, Xiaomi equips Redmi 9 with a MediaTek Helio G80 system on chip (SoC) with 12nm technology construction, octa-core up to 2.0GHz. This chipset is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal memory which can be added with MicroSD up to 512GB.

For the photography sector, Xiaomi equips Redmi 9 with four rear cameras with a 13MP main camera configuration, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth of field sensor. Redmi 9 also supports a number of camera features from HDR, cinematic portrait, macro video mode, beauty mode, to 1080p recording mode at 30 fps.

For other features and connectivity, Redmi 9 is equipped with several features that are rarely owned by other devices, including a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR Blaster, Wireless FM Radio, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Redmi 9 comes in three colors including Sunset Purple, Carbon Gray and Ocean Green. This phone is priced at less than IDR 2 million, which is IDR 1,749,000 for 3GB RAM specifications and 32GB internal memory. As for the highest 4GB / 64GB variant, it will be priced at 1,949,000.
