Beware There Are Impostors! Fortnite Brings Gym Mode Among Us To Epic Games

JAKARTA - Epic Games is rumored to have added a new mode to its game Fortnite, which is similar to Among Us. So the terminology used for the antagonists is also very similar, namely Impostors.

The Impostors game mode can be played by 10 players simultaneously, and will be divided into two competing groups, Agents and Impostors. As the game progresses, players gather to vote on who they think is secretly working against the Agent.

Later, the eight Agents will work to complete tasks around the new map, before the two Impostors sabotage their efforts, by eliminating the Agents. And because this is Fortnite, players can also randomly move other players around the map. In Impostors mode, players can also choose who will join the game by selecting private game mode. It is known, this game is very suitable to be played with people you know.

In fact, Among Us is not the pioneer of the game mode, it's basically a re-version of the Mafia party game also known as Werewolf. Some argue that Epic Games wouldn't be interested in adding such a mode to Fortnite without the popularity of Among Us during this year.

“It would be very, very cool to collaborate. Like the game mechanics, well, it shouldn't be a secret, but at least a different theme or terminology makes things more interesting?," said Innersloth community director Victoria Tran as quoted from Kotaku, Wednesday 18 August.
