This Chromebook prestige is exactly what happened with previous Windows laptops. However, at a price of around $500, students only get laptops with slower processors and reduced features such as low-resolution screens or less storage.

It's hard to beat the options available for Chromebooks under $500, and it's a market that will continue to grow.
