JAKARTA – The Clubhouse voicemail app is now open to everyone on iOS and Android. Clubhouse is a voice chat app founded by Paul Davison and Rohan Seth. This application was developed by software company Alpha Exploration Co and was released in March 2020.

Initially, the audio-only app has been an invite-only platform since launching in beta last year. Initially, it was only available on iOS, but beta testing on Android started in May this year.

Now, developer Alpha Exploration has announced that Clubhouse is out of beta and doesn't require an invite to join. The company has got a new logo and website as well.

The clubhouse started to gain momentum and many users joined in the following months to the point where celebrities got involved too.

Earlier this year, billionaire Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk appeared on the app which made it even more explosive. Other platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and Telegram, others are starting to work on their own versions of social audio platforms like Clubhouse. Now, Clubhouse has left the beta version and opened its gates to everyone who wants to join via Android and iOS.

The waiting list system has also been removed so those who own the club can post their link to everyone. Similarly, content creators can bring their viewers to join the Clubhouse.

New releases for this app are out for both Android and iOS and the developers say they will release a new update every 1 to 2 weeks. The company has also created a new logo and website.

The team also shared some statistics for the Clubhouse stating that the daily number of rooms has now grown from 50,000 to half a million. Since the beta launched for Android, 10 million users have joined the community, and 90 million direct messages have been sent since Backchannel, the direct messaging feature, was added to Clubhouse last week.

Recently, Clubhouse partnered with TED to bring TED Talks into the app. The first show is titled “Thank Your A** Off'”, and is hosted by AJ Jacobs, a writer and TED speaker.
