Apple will add three new Artificial Intelligence (AI) based photo editing features to iOS 27. These features will be available in the Photos app under the 'Apple Intelligence Tools' menu.
The first feature is 'Extend' which can expand the frame of an image. Users can generate additional content outside the original photo just by dragging the edges of the image with your fingers.
Next, there is the 'Enhance' feature which serves to improve the quality of photos automatically in a matter of seconds. This tool will optimize the aspects of lighting and color balance so that the image looks more professional.
The third feature is 'Reframe' which is designed to change the perspective on spatial photos. This technology allows users to reset the angle of view of the image so that the composition is more ideal.
Apple's internal report, reported by 9to5mac, states that the development of the Extend and Reframe features is still facing technical obstacles. Both tools are rumored to not work stably during testing by the developer team.
