JAKARTA - Spotify has launched a new feature that makes its platform more than just a music audio player. The feature is Fitness to help users' exercise habits.
The feature contains exercise content that is integrated with Peloton. Users can access dozens of playlists that also include instructional videos from various fitness creators.
Access to this fitness content is only available for Premium users. They can enjoy more than 1,400 sports classes without any ad interruptions.
Fitness content also includes a number of catalogs, including strength, cardio, yoga, and meditation. Some popular instructors who can be found in the Fitness content include Yoga with Kassandra, Chloe Ting, and Ally Love.
Spotify data shows that almost 70 percent of Premium users regularly exercise every month. They see an opportunity to serve millions of people who have been using the platform to find sports motivation through music.
Users can find this feature through the 'Fitness' center available in the app's navigation menu. These sports classes can be downloaded so that users can practice anywhere when there is no network.
Currently, most of the content is only available in English. However, Spotify is working on providing other additional languages, starting with Spanish and German.
The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
