JAKARTA - Gemini integrated with Chrome has been expanded to seven new countries. Thanks to this expansion, more users can access the Google chatbot faster.

Previously, Gemini in Chrome was only available in the US, India, and Canada. Now, the chatbot integrated with Chrome can be accessed in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Vietnam.

Gemini integration in Chrome is not only available on the desktop, but also on mobile devices such as iOS. While using Chrome, users no longer need to download the standalone Gemini app on the App Store.

With this integration, users can interact with Gemini through a floating window and an assistant in the sidebar. Users can take advantage of this integration to answer various questions in multiple tabs simultaneously.

Gemini will later be able to connect data from services such as Gmail and Google Photos that are opened through Chrome. That way, Gemini can provide more accurate answers.

Through this integration, users can schedule meetings in Calendar or check location details in Maps directly from Chrome. In addition, creating drafts and sending emails through Gmail can also be done without having to switch applications.

Gemini in Chrome also offers the Nano Banana 2 model. Users can easily change or modify the visuals found while surfing the internet through the available sidebar.

Although the basic features are widely available, the intelligent agent feature that can control the browser window is still in a limited testing phase. This advanced feature can currently only be enjoyed by paid package customers in the US region.
