Garena officially announced the start of the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA) 2026 Spring on April 24, 2026. This event will bring together the 18 best teams from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia.

This season, the Knockout format has been changed to four weeks, shorter than the previous six weeks, with 18 teams competing for 12 Grand Finals slots.
On Sunday 1-2 (April 24-May 3), all teams compete according to the group division and the first two weeks' standings determine the 12 teams that advance to the start of the third week.
Sunday 3 (May 8-10) gives an automatic Grand Finals ticket to the team that finishes Top 2 each day, so six teams have already qualified. Meanwhile, Sunday 4 (May 15-17) is the determination for the remaining 12 teams to compete for the last six slots to the Grand Finals.
A total of 12 best teams will appear in the Grand Finals, with the top eight teams qualifying for the 2026 Esports World Cup along with EVOS Divine as the defending champions.
