JAKARTA - Kredivo recorded a 27% increase in the volume of PayLater transactions on its platform, while transaction values increased by 26% during Ramadan and Lebaran 2026 compared to the same period last year.

This growth was also strengthened by an increase in new users by 31%, showing the increasing adoption of this service as a cash flow management solution in the midst of increased seasonal needs.

Along with this growth, the pattern of using PayLater also shows a shift. A one-month tenor has become the dominant choice, reflecting the use of the service for short-term needs, especially ahead of the salary and holiday allowance (THR) disbursement.

SVP Marketing & Communications Kredivo, Indina Andamari, said that this growth is a tangible proof that people are starting to manage their spending more strategically.

"We see PayLater being used before salaries and THR, with a one-month tenor as the main choice. This shows the role of PayLater as a short-term financial planning tool and has become people's preference as a daily payment method," he said.

In line with this trend, the average transaction value per user is in the range of IDR 800 thousand -1.5 million with an average number of transactions per user of 4-5 times.

In addition, significant growth was also seen in offline transactions outside Jabodetabek. During Ramadan 2026, the volume of PayLater transactions in tier 2 and 3 cities increased by 31%, while the transaction value jumped 67%.

Kredivo assesses that this increase shows the increasing integration of PayLater in the daily shopping activities of the local community, as well as encouraging local economic circulation.

Going forward, Kredivo will continue to drive healthy growth through measured expansion, risk management strengthening, the application of responsible lending principles, and financial education.

"The goal is that PayLater not only makes it easier, but also has a sustainable impact on users and the ecosystem," concluded Indina.
