WhatsApp Will Support Attach 20 Chats, but Must Pay

JAKARTA - WhatsApp will increase the embedding feature in its application. The messaging platform will support embedding up to 20 chat rooms in the future.

This ability was first discovered by WABetaInfo. In the beta release of version 2.26.9.9 for Android devices that are visible, this support will work when users subscribe to the Premium program.

Currently, users can only pin a maximum of three conversations. If you try to add more than that, the application will display a warning that the maximum limit has been reached.

In the upcoming Premium package service, the limit will be expanded with an additional 17 new slots. This provides convenience for users who want to access important conversations without having to scroll the screen too far.

This feature is designed specifically for users who often communicate with family, colleagues, or friends, both in private and group chats. Small business owners can also use this feature to prioritize certain conversations.

Basically, this Premium package is optional for all users. If users feel that a maximum of three chat rooms is enough to embed, they do not need to subscribe to the Premium package.

For those who are not subscribed, WhatsApp still provides the 'Register' feature as an alternative to organizing messages. This feature allows users to easily manage chats without incurring additional costs.

Currently, the ability to pin up to 20 chats is still in the development and technical improvement stage. After the testing process is complete, this premium package will be released gradually to the public.
