Gemini App Brings Previous Chat Feature to Free Users

Google has launched a Previous Chat feature for users of the free Gemini app. This feature will provide a more personal and relevant response with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support.

Through this feature, Gemini will refer to past user conversations to deeply understand the context of the latest conversation. That way, users don't have to repeat explanations that have already been discussed.

This new ability is designed to allow Gemini to learn the unique preferences of each of its users automatically. This will create a more natural interaction experience, like talking to a human assistant.

This feature, which has been released since last year, was initially only available to Google AI's exclusive customers. Now, millions of free users can enjoy the same ease in managing their daily information.

Even though it has been widely launched, this feature has not been added to the European region. Gemini users have to be patient because the launch of the feature will be carried out separately, but it is still promised to be present in the near future.

This feature can be controlled through the settings menu on the 'Personal Context' page. On that page, there is a button to enable or disable the Previous Chat feature at any time.

If activated, Gemini can better understand users. However, users can also get a good response from Gemini even if this feature is disabled for privacy reasons.
