JAKARTA - Ahead of the launch of the Galaxy S26 series at this year's first Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung revealed new Artificial Intelligence (AI) features that will be included in its high-end phones.

The feature includes the ability to edit photos with just voice commands. Thanks to improved AI support, Samsung says users will be able to change the mood of a photo from day to night in just a few seconds.

This ability is present to simplify the editing process. From the previous one which takes hours, users can now edit instantly with only a Galaxy phone that supports the latest AI.

Several AI editing features on previous devices will also be reintroduced in this new device. Users can restore missing object parts from images, such as restoring a piece of cake that has been bitten.

Samsung says that this latest editing capability is supported by an AI-powered shooting system. The latest Galaxy AI will integrate the process of capturing, editing, and sharing content in one platform.

The editing process is also simpler thanks to a natural multimodal input system. Users only need to explain the desired changes through words and AI will then execute the command automatically.

"Everything can be done in minutes directly from your Galaxy phone, simply with a simple command using your own words," Samsung explained in a statement, quoted on Wednesday, February 18.

The experience of the latest Galaxy camera and the presence of new features supported by Galaxy AI will be introduced in the near future. Galaxy Unpacked is scheduled to be held in San Francisco on February 26 both online and offline.
