JAKARTA - CrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity company, announced the appointment of Jonathon Dixon as Vice President and Executive Director for Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC).
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity and IT, Dixon will lead the AI-based cybersecurity transformation in JAPAC by accelerating the adoption of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
Dixon is an experienced leader in cybersecurity and IT with a proven track record of driving sales growth, market scale, and ecosystem development across JAPAC.
Most recently, as vice president and managing director of Japan and Asia Pacific at Verkada, Dixon led the go-to-market (GTM) and operations teams, as well as expanding Verkada's market presence in the region.
Prior to joining Verkada, Dixon served as Vice President and Managing Director of Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China (APJC) at Cloudflare, under whose leadership APJC became the fastest growing region for the company.
Throughout his career at global technology companies including AWS, Cisco, and IBM, Dixon has led multi-billion-dollar regional business segments and driven strong revenue growth through GTM expertise, channel development, and operational excellence.
"We are excited to welcome Jonathon as we continue to build momentum across JAPAC. He brings a rare combination of regional insight and experience in business development, which will be key to our continued growth in the region," said Michael Sentonas, President of CrowdStrike.
"I believe that under Jonathon's leadership, CrowdStrike will continue to expand our presence in the region and support more organizations in strengthening their security posture, as traditional approaches increasingly struggle to keep up with the dynamics of today's threat landscape."
"I am excited to join CrowdStrike, as the company continues to revolutionize cybersecurity and define platform protection that is AI-native," said Dixon.
