Google and YouTube, in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK), announced a series of new initiatives in commemorating Safer Internet Day worldwide.

Youth Champions Pilot Program: This pilot program will train local "youth champions" to act as drivers in their communities. These young ambassadors will be equipped with the capacity to build community-based digital resilience, so that online security advocacy efforts are still carried out peer-to-peer and relevant to the local cultural context.
Educational Content Series: YouTube facilitates partnerships with 10 well-known digital creators, including Kinderflix, Devina Hermawan, Kok Bisa, and Parentalk to launch a series of educational content to encourage positive behavior in cyberspace and increase awareness of the mental health of Indonesia's young generation.
In addition, Google through its philanthropic organization, google.org has provided funding of 5 million US dollars (Rp84 billion) to promote the digital well-being of young people throughout Southeast Asia.
In Indonesia, the Plan International Indonesia Foundation synergizes with ICT Watch with the aim of empowering more than 300,000 teenagers, parents, and teachers to be able to develop in the digital world.
