JAKARTA - Xiaomi officially launched its latest mid-range devices, the Redmi Note 15 Series, in Indonesia. This device consists of four models, namely Pro+ 5G, Pro 5G, standard 5G, and 4G version.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G uses a 6,500mAh Silicon-Carbon battery. The device supports 100W HyperCharge fast charging as well as reverse charging to charge other devices.

For protection from the outside elements, the Pro+ and Pro 5G models are equipped with IP68 and IP69K ratings. The device is claimed to be able to survive in water up to a depth of 2 meters for 24 hours.

In the camera section, the Redmi Pro+ 5G and Pro 5G offer a 200MP main sensor. This camera has optical-level zoom capabilities up to 4 times and supports Artificial Intelligence (AI) based image processing.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 5G and its regular 4G model are equipped with a 108MP main camera with a 3x telephoto feature. The entire line also comes with Wet Touch 2.0 so that the screen remains responsive even when used with wet hands.

For performance, both devices use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor combined with the IceLoop cooling system. This cooling technology is claimed to have three times better heat transfer efficiency than conventional systems.

For its display, this device is supported by a 6.83-inch screen with a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits. This screen panel also adopts a high PWM dimming frequency to minimize eye fatigue during long-term use.

AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search are already integrated by default in all models. For the Pro variant, there is an out-of-space communication feature that allows long-distance voice calls without a cellular network.
