Garena announced that the latest collaboration of Free Fire with Jujutsu Kaisen will soon be available through a global event titled "Jujutsu Awakening".
This collaboration also presents two exclusive songs titled "Awakening Path" and "Awakening Battle", which were specially composed by Yoshimasa Terui, the original composer of Jujutsu Kaisen.
This "Jujutsu Awakening" event introduces a new dimension in combat with five authentic Jujutsu techniques inspired by the main characters in the anime.
Players can master Yuji Itadori's Divergent Fist, Satoru Gojo's Unlimited Void & Hollow Purple, Ryomen Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine, to the very powerful Ember Insect.
All of these abilities can be unlocked and used in Battle Royale mode as well as Clash Squad Free Fire through the collection of tokens and event progress.
In Battle Royale mode, players will be introduced to a system of collecting "Cursed Energy" that can be obtained by defeating enemies, getting it randomly on the map area, or buying it through a vending machine.
Cursed Energy can be used to improve the Hammer or unlock Jujutsu, giving a new layer of strategy in every match.
In the Clash Squad mode, players can enrich the battle strategy with "Cursed Energy" Weapons and Jujutsu. Jujutsu Unlimited Void and Malevolent Shrine Domain Expansion can also be obtained by players through Cyber Airdrop.
This collaboration presents a series of character bundles, weapon skins, and exclusive Jujutsu Kaisen-themed rewards. Players can fight in the Free Fire arena as Yuji Itadori (free as a Grand Prize event!), Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, to Ryomen Sukuna.
Starting January 14–February 13, players can also exchange various free rewards, such as the Yuji Itadori bundle, the Jujutsu Kaisen Battle Card, Kento Nanami glasses, and many others.
