JAKARTA - Honor revealed the launch date for its latest mid-range phone, the Honor Power 2. The device is confirmed to be released in China on January 5.

This device will come with a very large battery capacity, namely 10,080mAh. Honor claims that this device is capable of supporting up to 14 hours of gaming activity or 22 hours of uninterrupted video playback.

Despite having a large battery, charging it won't take long thanks to 80W fast charging technology. Unfortunately, wireless charging is not available on this latest generation of the Power series model.

For performance, this phone will be powered by the Dimensity 8500 Elite processor which is the latest technology from MediaTek. In initial testing, as reported by Gizmochina, the performance of this processor is much superior to the previous generation.

In terms of its visualization, this device is equipped with a 6.79-inch LTPS OLED screen with an HDR brightness level of 8,000 nits. This screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate to provide a very smooth navigation experience.

Honor Power 2 uses a dual camera design that looks similar to the iPhone 17 Pro series. This device offers a 50MP main camera combined with an ultra-wide lens.

This phone will come with two storage capacity options, namely 256GB and 512GB paired with 12GB RAM. The operating system is already using MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
