Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Reportedly Cheaper Than Estimated, But Still Fantastic Securities

JAKARTA - Samsung is said to be preparing for the presence of the Galaxy Z TriFold, a three-screen foldable phone that has long been the subject of discussion. A recent leak from South Korea gave a little surprise: the price of the device is likely lower than the previous prediction. However, for potential buyers, don't expect the price to suddenly become friendly in your pocket.

A Korean tipster with the name of the eux1122 account through the Naver platform revealed that the Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to be marketed for 3.6 million won or around Rp. 40 million. This figure is lower than the initial rumors that mention the price of 4 million won. Although the difference reaches around 250 US dollars, this device remains in the super premium category, especially if it will be marketed in the United States or Europe, where prices generally tend to be higher.

The leaked source claims that the information comes from an internal announcement of the sales canal, but does not provide additional evidence. Therefore, these rumors still need to be addressed carefully.

If the banderol is correct, the Galaxy Z TriFold will come at a price well above the Galaxy Z Fold 7 which is sold for around US $ 1,616 (IDR 26.8 million) in Korea. The difference of around US $ 800 is indeed lighter than the previous prediction which reached more than US $ 1,000, but still places TriFold as the most expensive device in Samsung's folding phone line.

The official name of this device itself is said to have been half confirmed by another tipter that first leaked the existence of two screens: a 3-part foldable 10-inch main panel, as well as a 6.5-inch cover screen on the outside. When the phone is folded, the user will access the cover screen, while when it opens fully, the main panel turns into a mini tablet.

In the technical sector, Galaxy Z TriFold is said to be carrying a 5.600 mAh battery, making it one of the largest capacities in Samsung's foldable device lineup. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is thought to be the brain, placing this device in the highest performance class.

For the camera, Samsung is said to have done no extreme jumps; its configuration is predicted to be similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, including a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

Rumors of its launch are also starting to circulate. The Galaxy Z TriFold is said to be introduced on December 5, 2025. However, Samsung has not provided official confirmation regarding that date. With various leaked specifications and prices that continue to appear, TriFold is one of the most anticipated devices towards the end of this year.
