JAKARTA - The man with the initials HS from Bandung, West Java, is a suspect in the theft of crypto assets belonging to a company from London, after the Directorate of Cyber Crime, Bareskrim Polri revealed the manipulation of the system on the crypto trading platform Markets.com.
Wadirtipidsiber Bareskrim Polri, Kombes Pol Andri Sudarmadi, explained that this case stems from a Finalto International Limited report that detected unusual transactions on the purchase of crypto assets on the platform.
"Investigators then conducted a search of the flow of funds and fake accounts belonging to the perpetrators so that in the end the perpetrator, who is an Indonesian citizen with the initials HS, was arrested on September 15, 2025 in Bandung Regency, West Java Province," said Kombes Andri Sudarmadi, at Bareskrim Polri.
The investigation found that there was system manipulation carried out from Indonesia. HS, who is known to work as a computer accessories distributor and has known crypto trading since 2017, created four fake accounts to launch the action.
The fake identities use the names of Hendra, Eko Saldi, Arief Prayoga, and Tosin, all of which are obtained from the opensea.io site in the form of e-KTP.
Through these fictitious accounts, HS made fake purchases that caused huge losses to the company. The total loss incurred reached Rp6.67 billion.

Evidence has been confiscated from the suspect including: 1 laptop, 1 cellphone, 1 com wallet unit containing Rp266,801 USDT or equivalent Rp4,455,578,370.
Then, 1 priority ATM card unit was also found, 1 CPU unit, and 1 shophouse with an area of 152 square meters located in Bandung Regency, West Java Province.
