JAKARTA Lazada announced its latest investment of US$25 million (Rp400 billion) across Southeast Asia. The company poured funds to welcome the 11.11 festival.

Through this investment, Lazada said that they are committed to developing brands and empowering the digital economy ecosystem. The hope is that this investment can contribute to encouraging state revenue.

Barrera added that Lazada is also trying to encourage growth in creator commerce in Indonesia through this investment. This is done by expanding opportunities for content creators to increase their income through the content they create.

As part of this investment, Lazada strengthens the presence of creator commerce through partnerships with the YouTube Shopping affiliate program. This collaboration allows creators to recommend and embed Lazada products directly in YouTube videos.

Lazada is also leveraging the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to create a more efficient shopping experience. This feature can be accessed through the AI Labinda shopping assistant with the Pesan+ icon in the Lazada application.

By interacting with AI Laploy and entering SmartStack's secret code, customers can combine LazRewards with Voucher Sellers. This innovation allows customers to enjoy maximum savings.

"We designed 11.11 this year as a smart shopping festival by utilizing Lazada's AI technology innovation to give more value to customers, brands and content creators," concluded Carlos.
