JAKARTA Samsung launched the latest version of its premium image format, namely HDR10+ Advanced. This format is designed to improve the experience of high dynamic range (HDR) as a whole.

HDR10+ Advanced comes with a number of improvements to visual quality. This improvement includes brightness, tone mapping, movement, and color reproduction. This improvement is very useful for home theater and gamer fans.

One of the main supporters of this new format is the popular Prime Video streaming service Amazon. This support shows that Prime Video will improve the quality of the video with the latest HDR10+ Advanced version.

The original HDR10+ format is currently supported by 174 industry adopters. This format is also available on more than 16,000 certified product models. Its content potential is considered large with more than 500 film titles and 16 supporting streaming services.

HDR10+ Advanced includes six main features similar to the offer from newly launched Dolby Vision 2. This feature allows compatible TV to increase image brightness by 4,000 and 5,000 nits.

Other features offered include television capabilities in adapting images according to the genre. In addition, there is controlling the level of movement smoothing and improving visual performance during game streaming.

Television can also adapt to the conditions of the light around the room. Users will get more precise color control and produce a more immersive and accurate HDR experience.
