"Today, we launched a new WhatsApp application for Apple Watch, so you can monitor WhatsApp chats without the need to issue an iPhone," WhatsApp said, quoted on Wednesday, November 5.

Basically, users can see the notifications of WhatsApp messages that enter their watches without requiring an application. However, usually the messages that are displayed are limited, especially if the messages that come in are very long.

This WhatsApp app helps users read messages completely. Users can also write and send messages directly from their Apple Watch. In addition, the voicemail recording and delivery features are also supported.

Next, users can send a quick emoji reaction to incoming messages. Media views are also made better in this version of the app, with images and stickers that are more clearly visible on the watch screen.

Despite prioritizing convenience, WhatsApp continues to prioritize the privacy of its users. All messages and personal calls that enter the WhatsApp application for Apple Watch continue to use end-to-end encryption.

This WhatsApp application can be accessed by users of Apple Watch Series 4 or a newer version. The device is also required to run the watchOS 10 operating system or a newer version.
