The Mystery Of The 3I/ATLAS Interstellar Object Suspected Of Alien Technology, Here Are The Facts

JAKARTA The emergence of an astronomical object called 3I/ATLAS is being debated. When NASA called this object a comet, some scientists suspected that this object was alien-owned technology.

This allegation emerged from Professor Abraham Avi Loeb of Harvard University. Loeb said that the percentage of this technology related to aliens was 30 to 40 percent. These allegations are based on eight anomalies shown by 3I/ATLAS.

The first thing to mention is the size of an object much larger than an interstellar comet. Another oddity that Loeb highlighted was the fact that this comet could not be observed from Earth at its closest point to the Sun.

In addition, gas clumps around 3I/ATLAS are reported to contain more nickel than iron, adding to the list of unusual behaviors in these objects. With these various peculiarities, Loeb also questioned whether all of these anomalies were just coincidental.

However, other scientists such as Professor Jason Wright of Penn State University argue that 3I/ATLAS is a comet. He said that the peculiarity of this object was not a big surprise because comets in the solar system had many variations.

Wright added that this comet comes from another stellar system so that differences in its behavior do have to exist. This difference can actually help provide information about how other stellar systems form their planets.

NASA has also identified 3I/ATLAS as comets after conducting detailed telescope observations. These observations reveal clear signs of activity as well as important properties that distinguish comets from asteroids.

Scientists observed an ice core covered in a coma, namely a gaseous halo and a luminous dust formed when the solar heat evaporates volatile material. This release of gas and dust confirms that 3I/ATLAS consists mostly of frozen compounds consistent with cometary behavior.

NASA also verified that comet interstellar 3I/ATLAS poses no threat to Earth. The comet will reach its closest point to Earth on December 19 with a safe distance of about 270 million kilometers.
