Honor GT2 Leaks, Will Be Equipped With A 90.000 MAh Battery And Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Processor

The latest leak shows that Honor, a Chinese phone, will adopt Qualcomm's advanced processor for its flagship series. The processor to be used is Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

The device that is expected to use this processor is Honor GT2. Launching from Gizmochina, this device does not only use one of the best processors from Qualcomm. Honor will also be equipped with a jumbo battery with a capacity of 9,000mAh.

This information comes from a trusted informant with Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The informant described this device as the 'seeded Snapdragon 8' performance phone. Although the model didn't mention it, this leak fits perfectly with the launch time of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

The phone is expected to be the Honor GT2, the successor to the Honor GT that uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Meanwhile, previous rumors mentioned that this device is equipped with an 8,800mAh battery, but has now increased to 9,000 mAh.

A significant increase from 7,200 mAh in the first GT was extraordinary. According to rumors, this was able to be done thanks to the use of more sophisticated silicon-carbon battery technology.

This technology allows for higher energy density. This means the phone can accommodate a larger battery without making the device too thick. In addition to the massive battery capacity, this phone is also rumored to support up to 100W of charging speed.

Other specifications formulated are 24GB RAM, 1TB internal storage, and 1.5K OLED screens. In addition, this phone is expected to include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. These features show high-performance oriented phones.

Regarding the launch time, internal sources estimate this phone will debut in China by the end of 2025. This debut is likely to occur between November and December. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the international release from the GT2 line.
