Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison announced the presence of two new classes at IDCamp 2025, namely AI Engineer and Gen AI Engineer, to produce a new generation of digital talents who are ready to develop AI solutions in the real world.

The presence of these two new classes is to help Indonesia, which is said to still face a big gap in the availability of talents in this field.

Data from the Ministry of Education and Culture noted that there are around 2,600 engineers per 1 million population in Indonesia. This figure is still far behind when compared to Vietnam's 9,000 engineers, and South Korea's 25,000 engineers per 1 million population.

In the AI Engineer channel, participants will undergo 440 hours of intensive learning focused on data processing and machine learning from basis to continuation, including Python mastery, end-to-end modeling, evaluation, and applied projects to build an applicative AI/ML solution.

On the other hand, the genrative AI Engineer flow with a total duration of 456 hours emphasizes the development of machine learning using Tensor Flow combined with the concept of Large Language Models (LLM) and promotion engineering.

The curriculum also includes practical implementations such as RAG, fine-tuning, and AI-responsible principles so that participants are able to design generative AI-based innovative solutions that are ready to use in the world of work.
