JAKARTA - Telegram is rolling out major updates, by presenting a variety of new interactive and personalization features, including direct comments on group calls, personal contact records, as well as improvements to AI-based bots.

First, through comments and live reactions, it allows users to send temporary messages such as interactive emojis that will appear on screen, be it group calls or video chats.

Next, when adding or editing Telegram contacts, you can now include a personal note to remind that person one thing. Don't worry, because the contact record will be visible only to you.

There is also a birthday suggestion feature, where users can help friends add birthdays to their profiles and receive automatic words in the app.

For iOS 26 users, Telegram introduces the Liquid Glass design, a transparent interface with a refraction effect following iOS' latest style.

Premium Telegram users also get a new profile customization option using colors, symbols, and backgrounds from a collection of digital prizes.

Meanwhile, in terms of technology, Telegram updated the ability of AI bots with real-time support for conversation threads and response flow, making chatbot interactions more natural. The platform also opens monetization options for developers via AI-based subscription packages.

In addition, other updates also present simplified reward interfaces, the ability to display blockchain-based rewards on profiles, as well as official mini app launches for bug reporting and user advice directly from within Telegram.
