Honor Magic8 Pro Appears In Real Images, Reveals Design Ahead Of October Launch

JAKARTA - Honor's newest flagship smartphone, Magic8 Pro, has emerged in white ahead of the launch expected at the end of October. The latest leak circulating on Chinese social media platform Weibo provides a clear picture of the design of this phone. This leak follows a standard model image that previously appeared in the Sky Blue color last month.

The leaked image shows a large circle camera module with the words 'AIMAGE,' which houses three cameras and LED flash. Overall, the design of the camera module does not change much, except for the position of the flash which is now moved from the top to the bottom of the module. Apart from white, Honor is rumored to be offering this phone in black, gold, and blue variants.

Featured Specifications

Magic8 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which promises to increase CPU performance by up to 20% and GPU by 23% compared to the previous generation. This phone is likely to come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, as well as equipped with RF chips and Honor's artificial energy efficiency to improve signal quality and power management.

Photographography is one of the main focuses. The camera system reportedly includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP telephoto periscope lens with 3.7x optical zoom.

In addition, Magic8 Pro is expected to carry a 7,000mAh capacity battery with support for 120W cable fast charging. Coupled with the implementation of Android 16 which brings smoother AI-based features and multitasking, this phone seems designed for photography and high performance enthusiasts.

Although the latest leak does not reveal the design of the front, the information is expected to appear in the next few days.

With the upgraded chipset and capable camera capabilities, Magic8 Pro is ready to compete with rivals such as the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
