Sony Introduces RX1R III: Full-Frame Flagship Camera With Fixed Lense

JAKARTA - Sony has officially introduced RX1R III, the third generation of the RX1R premium compact camera series, to the Indonesian market.

This camera comes with an Exmor R CMOS full-frame 35 mm image sensor with 61 megapixel resolution, BIONZ XRTM's latest image processor, and ZEISS integrated lens

The combination of high-resolution sensors with the latest processing machines is claimed to be able to produce superior image quality with high sensitivity, low noise, and a wide dynamic range.

Sony also equipped RX1R III with an AR (Anti-Reflection) layer on the sensor and without the use of an optical low-pass filter, so that the photo results remained sharp.

Although equipped with a fixed lens, this camera offers flexibility through the Step Crop Shooting feature which allows users to choose a focus length equivalent to 35 mm, 50 mm, and 70 mm. The built-in lens is also equipped with a macro ring for close-range shoots of up to 20 cm.

To support the needs of modern creators, RX1R III brings an AI processing unit capable of recognizing the shape and movement of the subject, including the eyes and body of the human body, as well as tracking objects even though the face is invisible. This feature is available for photos and videos, with coverage of up to 693 AF phase-detection points.

In terms of design, RX1R III uses a lightweight and sturdy magnesium alloy body, equipped with a high-resolution electronic viewfinder XGA OLED.

This camera uses an NP-FW50 battery capable of producing up to 300 photos, as well as a USB Type-Crypto port with fast charging support.

In line with the environmental commitment of 'Road to Zero', Sony ensures that the production process of RX1R III uses 100% renewable energy, and packs products with environmentally friendly materials.

The Sony RX1R III camera is priced at IDR 79,999,000 with a pre-order period in Indonesia on 12 September 24, 2025. Consumers who make orders early will get a bonus of two TOUGH 64GB SD Card Sony memory cards and two NP-FW50 batteries.
