JAKARTA OpenAI announced an increase in GPT-5, its newest Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. Through an upload on X, OpenAI says the GPT-5 is now 'hoter and friendlier'.
When it was first launched, the AI model received a lot of criticism because of its stiffer response. Many users have complained about this problem and say the GPT-4o is much better than the GPT-5.
Although the old model was brought back, access was only limited to premium users. Therefore, there are still many who complain about the GPT-5 response.
Fortunately, OpenAI is committed to improving the AI model response.
OpenAI stated that the changes to GPT-5 made the model more 'smooth'.
In other words, the AI model response will not feel as stiff as when it was launched for the first time and its attitude will be reduced.

"ChatGPT should feel more accessible now," OpenAI said, quoted on Monday, August 18. "Internal testing does not show an increase in disgust attitude compared to the previous GPT-5 personality."
The company, led by Sam Altman, also emphasized that improvements to the GPT-5 have not yet been completed. They promised further updates in the near future.
