JAKARTA Logitech has decided to divert its production path out of China. This decision was made to reduce the impact of US rates that may affect the peripheral of its computer.

This was revealed by the Chief Executive of Logitech, Hanneke Fiber. This change has actually been disclosed since April 2025 so that Logitech can minimize import duties from China.

The technology company will shift its production lines to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan. Although the production was moved, Faber explained that this transfer would not lead to an increase in material costs.

This means that the price of Logitech products may not increase in price. Faber also revealed that this transfer of production lines will be carried out in stages. This transition will continue until the end of the year.

"We (had) stated that 40 percent of the products sent to the US came from China, and by the end of the year it will reach 10 percent," Faber said.

By diverting this production line, Logitech may be able to maintain or even increase its revenue until next year. So far, Logitech's revenue has shown positive results.

"We are a little better than 30 percent now, we are on the right track (by moving the production path)," said Faber.
