Samsung Acquires Xealth To Strengthen Digital Health Ecosystem

JAKARTA Samsung Electronic admits Xeatlh, a digital health platform. Through this acquisition, Samsung wants to build a health ecosystem that is integrated directly into its wearables.

Xealth has a very large network. This platform is integrated with more than 500 hospitals and 70 digital health solution providers. By acquiring Xealth, the platform will be integrated with the Samsung Health application.

The Samsung leadership in the digital health department stated that this acquisition was the company's response to patient demand. To date, many people want to understand health services efficiently.

"Patients and consumers around the world ask us to listen, know, and really understand them," said Hon Pak, Senior Vice President and Head of the Samsung Electronics Digital Health Team, quoted on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Hon Pak added that the partnership with Xealth would be a new opportunity for companies to build a connected health care ecosystem.

He further explained that they are not only partnering with Xealth, but also with Hinge and Advocate.

Mike McSherry, Founder and CEO of Xealth, is optimistic about future technologies, especially in the technology Samsung is developing. The more advanced the technology developed, the more sophisticated the health solutions that can be developed.

"This cellphone, along with your device, a watch, ring will replace blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, and various other devices,"

"This will be an integrated solution and it will simplify maintenance," McSherry said.
