JAKARTA Google is starting to launch AI Mode, a search tool integrated with Search, in India. As in the US, this tool is still in the testing phase so users need to activate the feature.

If users in India are interested in trying out the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based feature, they can access its features through Google Labs' experimental page. After that, users can ask any complex questions.

For now, AI Mode in India can only support questions in English. Google does not explain when this feature can be accessed in more diverse languages and when its features will be released stably in more countries.

When introducing AI Mode for the first time, Google says that this feature can help users find in-depth answers on the internet, especially on Search. Simply put, this feature works like AI Overview, but for larger needs.

Users can ask complex questions like 'What happens to the heart rate while we sleep well' and AI Mode will provide answers based on content on Google Search. AI Mode will also link sources with relevant content.

Users can ask further questions related to answers given by AI Mode. If users want to explore the topic, they can tap on the article embedded in the answer or in the right side of the panel.

"This experience is unique because it combines advanced model capabilities with the best information system from Google and has been integrated into Search. You can not only access high-quality web content, but also take advantage of the latest information sources," Google explained some time ago, quoted on Tuesday, June 24.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
