Vivo Y300c Officially Launches: 120Hz AMOLED Screen, 6,500mAh Battery, And 5G Support

Vivo officially launched its newest 5G smartphone in the entry-level class, namely Vivo Y300c, in the Chinese market. This phone comes in three attractive color choices and is equipped with 12GB RAM, as well as two internal storage options: 256GB and 512GB.

Vivo Y300c is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a chipset that has been integrated with the 5G modem. Although not the fastest processor on the market, its performance is considered quite capable for daily needs.

The screen is one of the main attractions of Vivo Y300c. This device has a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. For a more responsive gaming experience, this screen supports a touch sampling rate of up to 300Hz.

The Jumbo Battery and Fast Charging Feature of South Korea also outperforms a large battery capacity of 6,500mAh, which supports 44W fast charging. Interestingly, the Vivo Y300c also features reverse charging, allowing users to charge other devices such as wireless earphones.

In the photography sector, Vivo Y300c is equipped with a 50MP main camera on the back combined with a 2MP sensor for the bokeh effect. While on the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.

This phone supports the use of dual SIM and runs on an Android operating system, as well as offers intuitive full touch control.

In China, Vivo Y300c is priced at around $195, or around IDR 3 million. However, until now there has been no official announcement from Vivo regarding the launch of this cellphone in the international market, including Indonesia.

For additional information, Vivo is also rumored to be releasing their newest foldable phone, the X Fold 5, in June 2025. The device will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the 8.03-inch AMOLED main screen with a 2K+ resolution, as well as a 6.53-inch LTPO cover screen, both with a 120Hz refresh rate. For durability, the X Fold 5 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support and a 30W wireless, as well as two 32MP front cameras.

The launch of the Vivo Y300c marks Vivo's move to continue to enliven the 5G smartphone market at affordable prices, while preparing a flagship line like the X Fold 5 for the premium segment.
