JAKARTA - OPPO seems to be preparing to launch its newest flagship smartphone, Find X9 Ultra, in the first quarter of 2026. Ahead of its launch, a leak from a well-known tipter revealed that the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will come with two periscope cameras, supported by a 200MP main sensor and a 50MP secondary camera. Interestingly, the spectral image sensor previously exclusive is now likely to also be present in the vanilla and Pro models in the same series.
As a reminder, OPPO previously released the X8 Ultra in April 2025, with two 50MP periscope cameras and a Snapdragon 8 Elite high-end chipset powered. Now, OPPO is developing its successor: Find X9 Ultra, which reportedly won't be released before early 2026. According to the popular tech leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will bring a significant increase in the camera sector. It claims that the Find X9 Ultra prototype is equipped with two periscope lenses with 200MP and 50MP resolutions. In comparison, the X8 Ultra model only has two 50MP periscope cameras. This periscope camera is said to use the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 and JN5 sensors, but these specifications can still change in the final version.
Furthermore, the spectral sensor from Find X8 Ultra is also rumored to be brought to the Find X9 Pro variant and even the standard model. This sensor serves to capture colors more accurately, resulting in a more natural skin tone feature that is also owned by the Huawei Mate 70 series.
