JAKARTA - At the SIGNAL annual event held in San Francisco, United States, Twilio, an interaction platform with customers, announced its strategic partnership with Microsoft, to accelerate the adoption of conversation AI solutions for interaction with customers.
This collaboration will open up opportunities for more than 10 million developers of the Twilio app and thousands of Microsoft-run customers to build up the AI future of conversations to ensure that any digital interaction between businesses and consumers becomes extraordinary.
This collaboration comes amid communication challenges between businesses and consumers, ranging from lack of precision due to incomplete data to difficulties in increasing scale after successfully completing a pilot project.
By combining Twilio's expertise and leadership in communications, data and AI, as well as secure and globally available Microsoft Azure AI infrastructure, the partnership is expected to help accelerate the adoption of AI conversations across the company's functions.
"AI conversations strengthen business-customers interactions by providing Twilio users with precise information, which is then used to provide a rich and dynamic experience for their consumers," said Inbal Shani, Chief Product Officer at Twilio.
Twilio and Microsoft will collaborate in developing a conversation-based customer interaction solution built on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and a comprehensive customer engagement platform from Twilio that combines communications, contextual data, and AI.
