Samsung Ready To Mass Production Of Tri-Fold Phone Screens Starting Next Month

JAKARTA - Samsung is rumored to be starting the mass production of the screen for its first triple foldable phone "Galaxy G Fold" starting next month. This revolutionary phone is expected to be released to the market in the second half of 2025.

The move marks a new chapter in the folding phone industry competition. According to South Korean media reports, Samsung Display is preparing to produce a tri-fold display panel on a large scale starting June 2025, and the product launch stage is likely to follow a few months later.

According to industry rumors sourced from the @Jukanlosreve X/Twitter account, Samsung Display will begin initial production with a total of between 200,000 and 300,000 units. Given that this is a new form in Samsung's device portfolio, the company appears to be adjusting production capacity based on market responses.

Samsung itself has been experimenting with this triple-screen technology for years. Some of the prototypes have even been featured in technology exhibitions, but this will be the first time the technology has entered the production and market lines officially.

Galaxy G Fold, Samsung's First Tripled Phone

The name 'Galaxy G Fold' is believed to be the official identity of this phone. Because the technology used is much more sophisticated than the current Galaxy Z Fold series, the selling price of the Galaxy G Fold is expected to be much higher.
