In collaboration with PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia or KAI Commuter, GoPay presents a feature to refill the Multi Trip Card (KMT) balance on the GoPay application for Commuter Line travel transactions.
"We hope that this innovation can reduce queues that snake during peak hours at the station counter," said Head of GoPay Wallet Kelvin Timothy, in a statement on Friday, May 2.
KMT is an electronic money card issued by KAI Commuter to facilitate travel ticket payment transactions for Commuter Line users.
KMT can be used in various other modes of transportation such as TransJakarta, Jabodebek LRT, Jakarta MRT, Jakarta LRT, TransJogja, TransJateng, and TransJatim.
Internal data from PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia noted that from January to March 2025, the total payment of Commuter Line tickets using KMT was more than 42.5 million transactions. Meanwhile, in 2024 there were more than 166.2 million transactions.
This cooperation makes GoPay the first e-wallet that can be used for KMT top ups. Users are making it easier to top up KMT in addition to doing KMT top ups at Commuter Line station counters and through the C-Access and Access by KAI application," continued VP Corporate Secretary Joni Martinus.
