JAKARTA - Ubisoft announced that the new Downloadable Content (DLC) for the Gom The Division 2 entitled Battle for Brooklyn will be released on May 27, along with the new season.
Battle for Brooklyn will bring players back to New York City in the fall, new time in a year that has never been featured in this franchise.
Some areas may look familiar to old players of The Division. However, all other aspects will be completely new and keep many secrets and new challenges for the players.
The main threat came from Cleaners and Rikers, who had crossed the river from Manhattan carrying a new weapon called Purple Flame.
"As they progress through a linear campaign, both solo and co-op, players will reveal how Cleaners produce Purple Flame and struggle to thwart the planned attacks on civilians," the game caption reads.
In Battle for Brooklyn, players can open a new version of the Smart Cover, a skill first introduced in The Division that allows players to strengthen protection points.
The offensive and defensive variant, as well as applications for PVE and PVP, will make the Smart Cover an additional impact. Catalyst Exotic Mask is an exclusive feature for this DLC.

Players who already have The Division 2 can enter Battle for Brooklyn into the wishlist on April 24, and the new DLC will be included with the purchase of The Division 2 Gold or Ultimate editions.
The Division 2 is currently available on Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, PS4, Amazon Luna, and PC via Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and Epic Games Store, as well as on Ubisoft+ Premium subscriptions.
