JAKARTA - Enlivening the special moment of Ramadan, Google is launching new improvements in its services, to provide a better Ramadan experience for all users in the world, especially in Indonesia.
First, in facilitating payments on Google Play, Google expands its payment options. After launching the bank transfer payment option with Virtual Account in 2022, Google is now presenting a payment option via QRIS.
So, starting from Ramadan this year, you can easily pay for applications, games, e-books, streaming content, and others with practical methods and stay available after Ramadan ends.
Additionally, Google Maps collaborates with 12 creators and communities to provide recommendations for a list of interesting selected locations in big cities, through the Shared feature.
With this feature available on Google Maps, users can easily share recommendations for iftar from favorite content creators, search for the nearest mosque, to the location of Eid preparation shopping.

Google also provides real-time KRL information on Google Maps. If the KRL Commuter Line route is available, real-time time information will be clearly displayed in search results.
This integration allows users to monitor train movements directly, so that travel is more planned and efficient, especially for those who are active in urban areas during the month of Ramadan.
As for people planning to go home using private vehicles, Google Maps is also working with the government and related parties to provide the latest information about the best route, rest area, and homecoming post. This information can later be accessed directly on Google Maps during the homecoming period
"With various innovations, we hope to accompany your Ramadan trip," said Feliciana Wienathan, Communications Manager, Google Indonesia.
