Koei Tecmo Announces Replacement Of Company CEOs And Reconstruction

JAKARTA - Koei Tecmo Holdings announced changes in leadership structure, personnel changes, new executive appointments, and company separation in their group.

In a company document that VOI obtained from Gematsu, Koei Tecmo officially appointed Hisashi Coinuma to become the new President and CEO of the company.

In addition, this document also mentions the appointment of Yoichi Erikawa who will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors, whilerukha Erikawa becomes Chair of Emeritus.

Changes in directors and executives will be ratified at the 16th General Meeting of Shareholders in June 2025. This change aims to strengthen the company's governance by separating management oversight and business implementation.

In addition to changes in the company structure, Koei Tecmo also announced a separation with the absorption-type split method between KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD. (KTG) and the new KOEI TECMO CORPORATE FINANCE CO., LTD. (KTCF).

The KTCF will handle the group's financial and investment functions to increase cash management efficiency, and will take effect from April 1, 2025.

This change is expected to strengthen the company's growth by improving governance and operational efficiency.
