Apple Prepares IOS 18.4 Beta Version, This Is The Estimated Release Time

JAKARTA Apple will end testing the 18.3 beta iOS for developers. With the end of the iOS cycle, Apple will launch the latest operating system (OS), iOS 18.4 beta 1.

The iOS launch schedule is usually predictable. If iOS 18.3 is released in a stable version on January 27, the company will launch the beta version of iOS 18.4 within a few days. At the earliest, the latest iOS version will be tested on January 28.

However, there is a possible beta version for iOS 18.4 to be tested about a week after the stable release of iOS 18.3. Judging from the iOS release from year-on-year, Apple launched iOS 17.3 on January 22 last year, while iOS 17.4 beta was released on January 25.

Unlike 2023, the launch range is more distant. iOS 16.3 was launched on January 23, 2023, while iOS 16.4 beta 1 was released on February 16, 2023. Apple has also launched stable iOS and iOS beta within one day of 2022.

Launching from 9to5mac, Apple had said that they wanted to get as much beta testing time as possible for iOS 18.4. This is done because Apple wants to bring more Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based features.

With the emergence of this plan, of course iOS 18.4 beta 1 should be released as quickly as possible. The slower the system update is tested, the longer testing will take. Slow system updates can affect the next iOS version.
