Samsung Music Frame Presents Aesthetic Speaker With Dolby Atmos Technology

JAKARTA Samsung introduced Dolby Atmos audio format on the Music Frame device. Smart speakers released at the beginning of last year are already available in Indonesia and can be customized as needed.

Music Frame is a custom speaker designed to fill the needs of the room. As the name implies, this device is combined with a photopaper frame. Users can use a built-in photo or replace it with another photo.

Although designed to coexist with Q-Symphony technology on Samsung soundbars, the Music Frame also provides immersive and comprehensive audio quality. In fact, this audio device can adjust the condition of the room.

In an experience session with Dolby which was held on Tuesday, January 21, Samsung said that this device is supported by Dolby Atmos so that the resulting sound feels 3D. This device can be used independently or as a Q-Symphony companion.

Not only producing 3D sound, but Music Frame is able to produce sound that feels comprehensive thanks to 3 Way speakers technology. The spread of this voice is also supported by deep bass even though the depth is not as good as Q-Symphony.

Shely Dianata, Head of AV Marketing and Demand Generations of Samsung Electronics Indonesia, explained that this technology produces a different sound, depending on its function. If not pinned to television, this device can be an ordinary speaker.

However, when connected to a television supported by Q-Symphony soundbar, the Music Frame can be a rear speaker or surround to strengthen the sound in the room. In fact, this device can also be placed in a different room.

"There is also a device-device that we develop for home entertainment. So, (this Music Frame) is for Encing home entertainment. So if for example outside (still functioning), it means that so far there are still people who continue electrification," said Shely during the experience.

Interestingly, this device supports the use of SmartThings and Bixby virtual assistants. If the microphone is active, the user can order anything. Meanwhile, thanks to SmartThings support, this device can be activated easily.

Shely also explained that this device can only function optimally when connected to television with a Q-Symphony soundbar. Without this device, the Music Frame can still produce good flares depending on the connected device.
