JAKARTA Based on the results of the 2024 Future Readiness Indicator (FRI) research released by IMD on Wednesday, November 27, it was revealed that NVIDIA is the most innovative and ready for change.

NVIDIA occupied the top position with a perfect score, followed by Microsoft with a score of 96.7 and Meta with a score of 84.7. NVIDIA also managed to beat Alphabet, parent company Google, and Apple.

Alphabet is in fourth place with a score of 80.7, while Apple, which is famous for its high-end phones, only scored 79.3 in fifth position. This is a great achievement for NVIDIA as the company failed to develop its first chip.

"Although NVIDIA had failed to switch from the game console business to GPU, NVIDIA's investment stake in AI (Artificial Intelligence) really paid off," said Professor of IMD Management and Innovation and Head of the Center for Future Readiness IMD Howard Yu.

The achievement of NVIDIA, and other companies in the top 10 rankings, shows that the company managed to achieve three success factors. First, they have excellent innovation resilience, especially in the fields of AI and cloud.

Second, all of these companies are successful in developing the company's ecosystem. NVIDIA and other companies have a variety of businesses so that the profit margin for their assets is much higher.

Finally, these companies have a stable finance in the long term. This is one of the important factors for companies to actively develop their innovations in the future.

Under Apple, there are still five other ratings that IMD generalizes. The five companies with a score below 7.7 and above 5.7 are Amazon, AMD, Qualcomm, SAP, and Netflix.
