JAKARTA At the end of last August, Google launched a new feature for Tab Group in the Chrome app for Android devices. Although the Tab Group update was recently released, Google will be rolling out another new feature.

Experts with Leopeva64 accounts on platform X, reported by Android Police, revealed that Canary version Chrome on Android devices will add a Group Tab function. With this new feature, the Group Tab can be shared easily.

A few months ago, Google tested the Act button at the top of the Tab Group folder. This button hasn't rolled out yet, but Google has already replaced it with the Share button in the same position. Even though the name changed, the function of the button remains the same.

After the Share button is widely released to the Chrome application, users can share an invitation to join the same Group Tab. When clicking the Share button, the user will be asked to enter the email address of the recipient of the invitation.

When other users have received the invitation and join the shared Group Tab, all different devices can now open or view the same Group Tab. Group Tab Participants will also see a newly added or deleted tab.

This new function will be very useful for workers or students who are working on a project together. They don't need to share one by one the links because this feature will make it easier to send multiple links.

Currently, the Group Tab sharing feature can only be activated in Chrome Canary and has not been widely launched to all users. It is not yet known when this Group Tab sharing feature will be rolled out to the Chrome app for iOS.
