JAKARTA - Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, has issued sharp criticism of President Joe Biden's crypto policy. In a video posted on Cardanians.io and derived from Altcoin Daily, Hoskinson invites US voters to prioritize the future of crypto assets in the upcoming elections.

Hoskinson highlighted the importance of blockchain technology in shaping America's future. He warned that choosing Biden could potentially end the development of the crypto asset industry in the country. On the same day, Hoskinson also posted on X, criticizing media reactions against President Biden's performance and highlighting the lack of preliminary elections in the Democratic Party which he said could reveal Biden's declining popularity.

Hoskinson questioned the public's tolerance for the current situation and stressed the need for real choice. He called Biden's administration detrimental to the crypto asset sector, citing the President's pledge to veto legislation aimed at controlling the SEC's crackdown on cryptocurrencies.

Industrial Reactions To SEC Actions

In May, Hoskinson criticized President Biden's stance on SEC regulatory actions, as posted by crypto expert Andrew Griffiths. Hoskinson claims that the White House is trying to 'destroy the American crypto asset industry.' According to him, the SEC's regulatory-based approach through enforcement has led to the loss of much work and a trillions of dollars in industry.

Other blockchain leaders, including Messari CEO Ryan Selliks and ClubWomen, also voiced this concern. Meanwhile, Coinbase and Ripple CEOs have turned crypto lobbying into significant political power. Anthony Scaramucci, a well-known supporter of the crypto sector, provides warm support for Biden, in contrast to his criticism of Trump's unpredictable leadership style.

In a previous report by The Crypto Basic, a memo circulating among members of the Democratic Committee ahead of an important hearing on digital asset regulation sparked significant debate. Charles Hoskinson explicitly criticized the memo and invited US citizens to critically consider the matter as a single voter in the upcoming election cycle.
