JAKARTA - A number of large technology and social media companies have flocked to spend their funds and assistance to fight the corona virus pandemic (SARS-Cov-2). Not only financial aid, companies such as Apple, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo to several e-commerce stores are also taking part in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Smartphone vendor from China, Xiaomi began sending medical assistance in the form of N95 masks, thermometers and medical kits to a number of city health centers in Wuhan and its surroundings. Xiaomi also donated funds worth 300 thousand yuan or the equivalent of Rp.587 million to the government and medical personnel who have worked in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak.

Not only aid masks in the form of medical equipment were also donated by Huawei to a number of countries affected by corona. At least 500 thousand masks have been distributed by Huawei to medical institutions, assistance with emergency protective equipment and other technological equipment to detect the corona virus has also been sent.
