Visit Balmon Radio Frequency Spectrum In Manado, Minister Of Communication And Information: Hopefully More Enthusiastic In The New Year

JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi inspects the Communications and Technical Service Unit of the Manado Class II Radio Frequency Spectrum (Ballon) of the Directorate General of Resources and Postal and Information Technology Manado, North Sulawesi.

During his visit, he asked employees to remain enthusiastic and work hard to provide services to the community and keep the radio frequency spectrum safe from interference.

"Hopefully Balmon's friends will keep their spirits up, keep working hard together," he said, quoting Antara.

According to Budi Arie, the existence of the Manado Class II Radio Frequency Monitoring Center is important to unite the country, especially maximizing connectivity in the North Sulawesi and surrounding areas.

Minister Budi Arie also reminded employees of the Manado Class II Radio Frequency Monitoring Center to support the Peace Election Campaign. According to him, this was done by carrying out optimal tasks and functions.

On that occasion, Budi Arie also wished the employees a Merry Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024. He hopes that in 2024, all the symities of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics can be more enthusiastic, perform optimally, innovatively, and progress.

"Hopefully our new year can be more enthusiastic, more optimal, more innovative, and more advanced," he said.

The Ministry of Communication and Information is currently drafting a Minister of Communication and Information Technology Regulation on the Use of Radio Frequency Spectrum (SFR) for the Microwave Link Communication System.

In the latest Draft Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology regarding the Use of Radio Frequency Spectrum for Microwave Link Communication Systems, it regulates several things starting from planning the use of radio frequency band (band plan) for a microwave link communication system.

Then there is also planning to use the radio frequency channel (channeling plan) for the microwave link communication system.

Furthermore, the minimum distance provisions for the use of radio frequency spectrum channels for the microwave link communication system in the Appendix.

There is also about the right to anchor the microwave link, telecommunications equipment and/or Microwave Link telecommunications equipment, international coordination, supervision and control, transition provisions, and closing provisions.
