Employee Database Has Been Hacked, Attorney General's Office Immediately Change Their Passwords

JAKARTA - The database of the Attorney's office has reportedly been hacked and spread to a hacker forum. In response to this, the Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, is currently investigating the alleged data hacking.

"Criminal Statistics And Information Technology Center (Pusdaskrimti) is investigating whether this is old hacking data or new cases", Leonard said, Thursday, February 18.

His party has also checked the entire system at the AGO and made sure everything is running normally. To follow up on this hacking information, Pusdaskrimti of the Attorney General's Office continues to communicate with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).

Leonard said that his party is still checking the existing systems and applications. Everything is mentioned in normal circumstances.

As a precautionary measure, his party has also asked application users within the Attorney General's Office to change passwords.

"The Attorney General's Office through the Center for Criminal Statistics and Information Technology (Pusdaskrimti) has taken steps by encouraging users to change passwords to prevent misuse of the application", he explained.

It is known, the Attorney General's employee database has been uploaded by raid forums, by a hacker on behalf of Gh05t666nero.

Based on the data uploaded by the hackers, it can be seen that the hacked data is the full name, telephone number, email address with the @Kejaksaan.go.id domain, position, rank of staff, and employee number.
