JAKARTA - Not long ago, on October 24, there was a lot of screenshots circulating where the name of the Constitutional Court (MK) of the Republic of Indonesia was changed to the Family Court by a netizen.

However, when this article was written, VOI had seen the name of the location that was changed to the Family Court now back to the beginning, namely the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia.

The incident of changing the name of the location or place in Google Maps is not the first incident. Previously, the same thing had happened to the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) building.

Changing the location name on Google Maps can indeed be done by anyone. However, what needs to be underlined is that this name change will not happen immediately. But Google Maps will conduct a prior review before the name is approved and changed.

"We are reviewing your edits, so the changes you make may take some time to update on the map," wrote Google quoted by VOI from its help page.
